2.5k Fun Run  – 9:30am
10k Race – 10:30am

Run Frimley is a charity event to raise money for the Frimley Park Hospital Stroke Appeal on Sunday 27th September. The event is comprised of a 10k Road Race and 2.5k Fun Run based at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey. Featuring chip timing for all participants and every participant will get a finishing medal and refreshments. Fancy dress is strongly encouraged (particularly in the fun run) and this year’s theme is “Your Favourite Disney Character” there are lots of prizes for top runners as well as the best fancy dress.

Officially measured

This 10k road race is officially recognised by UK athletics and the course has been measured and verified. If you are an affiliated member of a recognised running club you will qualify for a discount when booking your place. As this event is to raise money for the hospital you can of course still pay the full price as a little contribution to our charity.

This year, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the running of this race, we are offering you the chance to enter for free! All you have to do is raise £50 for the Frimley Health Charity by opening a Just Giving page and asking your friends, family and work colleagues to donate. Spaces are limited so if you don’t want to miss out register now.

The money raised by Run Frimley goes to support Frimley Park Hospital. Your support provides life-changing equipment and services for sick and vulnerable people of our community.

  • By Car:

    Via the M3 exiting at junction 4 and following signs for Frimley / Camberley

    From Guildford / Farnham via the A331 and following signs for Frimley / Camberley

    From Woking via the A320 heading for Chobham and following signs for Frimley / Camberley

    Free parking is available in the hospital’s public car park. The barriers should be open from 08.30am – 11.45am on Sunday 3rd May.

    If you arrive outside of these times or find the barriers closed, just push the intercom button at the parking barrier and tell the security staff that you are taking part in Run Frimley to be let through. You will not have to pay for parking even if you have to get a ticket to enter the car park.

    By Train:

    The nearest railway station is Frimley, although you may find it more convenient to use Farnborough Main and to complete your journey by bus or taxi.

    South Western Railway services from London Waterloo to Guildford via Ascot serve Frimley station. From there you can take the short walk to the hospital or use bus routes 2 and 71.

    Please arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the start of your run. Parking is free at the hospital but we encourage you to use public transport or carpool if possible.

    2.5k Fun Run
    09.30am – Start

    10.45am – Prize ceremony for the top 3 runners in both male and female under-11 and under-15 age groups.

    10k Road Race
    10.30am – Start

    11.30am – Prize ceremony for the following categories: Males 39 & under, Females 34 & under, Males 40-59, Females 35-54, Males 60+, Females 55+

    Age Restrictions:

    10k - Our event is run in accordance with the UK Athletics Rules, so runners competing in the 10k Road Race must be aged 15 or over on the day of the run (Sunday 1st May 2019).

    Fun Run - Children must be aged under 15 on the day of the run to qualify to win a prize. There is no lower age limit for participation in the 2.5k Fun Run but under-9s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
